About the book

The most ignored common sense in the financial universe is to impress upon the teenagers and young newly employed adults in your family how important it is to start sensible and safe savings as early as possible! Those teenagers will never buy this book but you can for them. An inter-generational focus on the nature of compound interest and the value of time will make all the difference in their entry to a real world.Few of us have ever had a parent or grandparent sit us down and explain the basics of the value of compounding. We all wish we did, yes? Yes! Here is the tool. Each chapter’s concept is divided into 3 parts: Read this at 17, read this when you get that first adult job, and an explanation to you, the mentor, as to what is being conveyed and grasped.

About the book

The story tells of the lives of two friends growing up in New York City, their worlds vastly different but mingled with the hopes of a purposeful future while each tries to make sense of a past wrought with more questions than answers. Three generations of neighbors, all sharing their lives in the same apartment building in this vast city, reveal the past and present fabric of what it means to find balance and dignity in a world forgetting and often forbidding both.
